Eight Romanian players in the doubles draw at the Concord Iași Open
On Sunday, the main doubles draw at the Concord Iași Open was established. There will be 16 teams at the start, and Romania is represented by 8 players.
In the first round, two 100% Romanian pairs will face each other, Gabi Boitan/Bogdan Pavel – Cezar Crețu/Alexandru Jecan, so Romania will definitely have a pair in the quarter-finals.
The other four Romanians on the main draw will have foreign partners. Dan Alexandru Tomescu will play alongside the Argentinian Juan Pablo Paz, Matei Onofrei will partner the experienced Argentinian Pablo Cuevas, Marius Copil will play alongside the Czech Zdenek Kolar, the 2021 singles champion, and Filip Jianu will pair up with the French Kyrian Jacquet .
