SUPER FINALS at the BCR Iași Open, with four Romanians on the field! Irina Begu and Ana Bogdan will offer a premiere in the WTA circuit

The 2nd edition of the WTA 125 BCR Iași Open tournament, a contest with total prizes of 115,000 dollars, reached the day of the grand finals, and today we will find out the names of the three champions.
We know for sure that the singles trophy will remain in Romania, as happened in last year's edition.
If Ana Bogdan, the champion of the first edition, will triumph again in 2023, or if the trophy will be lifted at the end by Irina Begu, we will find out after the dream final, which the residents of Iași will have the privilege of watching live on the Central Court, not before 2:00 p.m.
It will be a first not only for Iași, but also for Romanian tennis, Irina Begu (32 years old, world number 31, main favorite) and Ana Bogdan (30 years old, 49th WTA place, 2nd favorite) constituting the first Romanian final in the WTA circuit!

The trophy could remain in Romania in doubles as well, as the main favorites in the grand final are our girls Irina Bara and Monica Niculescu. The two Romanians won in a minimum of sets and extremely clearly the two matches played at Baza Sportivă Ciric and clearly start with the first chance in the final with the Slovenian double Veronika Erjavec / Dalila Jakupovic.
