The main draw has been drawn!
The draw for the main draw at the ATP Challenger 100 Concord Iași Open took place on Saturday evening. The event was coordinated by the ATP supervisor Stephane Cretois, who was assisted by the tournament director Andrei Pavel, the players Radu Albot (Republic of Moldova, favorite no. 2) and Zdenek Kolar (Czech Republic, the 2021 champion), Andrei Orita, the holder of the Iași Open licenses , Vlad Ciuburciu, the representative of Vascar, one of the sponsors of the tournament and the director of communication Maria Tudor.
The Romanian players Cezar Crețu and Nicholas David Ionel will have opponents from the qualifications in the first round, while Filip Jianu will play with the seventh favorite, the French Enzo Couacaud.
The Spaniard Zapata Mirales, the main favorite of the Concord Iasi Open tournament, will meet the Tunisian Aziz Dougaz in the first round, while the favorite no. 2, the Moldavian Radu Albot, will face the Argentinian Juan Pablo Ficovich.
The main draw will start on Monday, July 10, but until then the qualifying matches will take place, with the first round duels scheduled for Sunday.
11 Romanians are also present in the qualifications, the best rated being Marius Copil (favorite 3).
